Hi,
I woke up to go to the bathroom at 4am and then couldn't fall back to sleep, so ended up getting out of bed this morning at 4:30.
Whenever this happens I usually end up walking around the house in the darkness and the quietness and enjoying the moment of solitude. After awhile I will inevitably end up on the computer, and with my mind hoping around on different subjects of thought and questions, I will call up my friend 'Google' and ask different questions, or read emails or blogs, or in some other way pass away the time in thought.
This morning while reading the blog of a family of three (husband, wife, and teenage girl - oh, and cat) who live on a trawler called Three@Sea ( www.ThreeAtSea.com ), I came across this great quote in the blog that served as inspiration to them while they were trying to fulfill their dream quest of owning a boat and traveling the world. It touched me, so I wanted to share it with you. It is by the German philosopher, scientist, and artist Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:
